Mark Wagner, MA ~ Creative
Director: is a digital and traditional artist, teacher,
musician, and dad. His mission is to “Re-Enchant the World Through
Art.” Mark has worked as a professional artist for over 20 years.
He works in the film industry as a concept artist, as well as in illustration,
graphic design, web site development, fine art, and music video.
Mark received his Master's Degree from JFK University in "Arts and
Consciousness" and a BFA from Pratt Institute. He has taught art and
creativity in graduate school, art schools, and state prison. He is currently
illustrating and writing a book titled “The
Art of Being a Dad.”
Mark has been involved in chalk drawing festivals in since
1994. He helped in creating a 25 x 75 foot chalk drawing of the entire ceiling
of the Sistine Chapel (which was the largest masterpiece copy) at the Youth
in Arts Italian Street Painting
Festival in San Rafael, CA . Mark and fellow artist/sculptor Clayton
Thiel were the featured artists
this year at the Youth in Arts festival and
created
something new by using 3D forms.
In 2004 Mark created an Artist-in-Resident
program at Franklin Elementary School in Alameda, creating
a pilot program to connect art back into the public school system where
Federal funding is not available. Mark believes that being creative in all
aspects of one’s life is a core foundation for living an amazing life
and to having a deeper connection with oneself and the world. Mark won the
“Shining Star” award from the City of Alameda in 2005 for his
